Officers of the General Administration of Supply Investigations arrested the head of a supply office and the owner of a food store for seizing support funds allocated to citizens in the Agouza Police Department.
Information received by Major General Hosni Zaki, Director of the General Administration of the Supply Police, stating that the head of a supply office and the owner of a supply store did not hand over the smart ration card extracted since 2015 for a citizen, and they seized the support funds without their knowledge and without a legal justification for their personal account.
After legalizing the legal procedures, a force of police officers raided the General Administration of Supply Investigation and was able to arrest them, and it was found that they had unlawfully seized 3103 pounds.
Confronting them, they acknowledged the commission of the incident, and a report of the incident was drawn up and the Public Prosecution office was notified to investigate.
