In Case 69 of the 59th Supreme Judicial Year, the Administrative Prosecution decided to refer 4 officials in the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector to trial after it was proven that they committed grave financial and administrative violations.

The indictment report confirmed that the four defendants had gone out of duty on the job, did not perform the work assigned to them accurately and honestly, violated financial rules, and committed anything that would harm the money of their employer.

Investigations confirmed that Abdel Moneim Muhammad Owais, Director of Laboratories Department at the General Administration for Laboratories and Teaching Aids, prepared a brochure of conditions and specifications for the tender for the supply of laboratory supplies and educational aids and signed them in place of the director general of the administration and the director of the means department without authorization - and he was alone in setting the estimated value of the tender without convening the committee concerned with determining the value Discretion.

The accused requested items in the requirements brochure related to the old neighborhood curricula and not the modern curriculum.

Adel Fouad Abdel-Majeed, Director of the Media Department at the General Administration of Laboratories and Teaching Aids, asked for the number and equipment of carpentry workshops, even though they do not fall under the category of equipment supplies, which led to the accumulation of district stores in them without benefiting from them, which wasted 125 thousand pounds.

Sami Hassan Sharaf Al-Din, Director of the Department of Means and Laboratories in the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, neglected the actions of the second accused, which led to his committing the violation attributed to him.

Maher Saad Abdel-Baqi, an employee in administrative affairs in the Al-Azhar Institutes sector, issued a statement of unpaid leave that Adel Fouad Abdel-Majid obtained without including all the licenses in it.

The investigations ended with referring all the accused to trial, and the administrative prosecution asked the president of the court to determine the closest hearing to the case.
