Members of the Administrative Control Authority in Tanta managed to catch an official in the engineering department in the Awal Tanta neighborhood while receiving a bribe in exchange for facilitating the violating construction of a contractor at an amount of 5,000 pounds.
Major General Haider Mansour, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, had received a notification from Major Muhammad Khalaf, a member of the Administrative Control Authority, stating that there had been information confirming that one of the organization's employees in the Awal Tanta neighborhood, called YS, was charging money in exchange for facilitating the construction of the violating properties.
Immediately, members of the apparatus tracked him down while he received a bribe of 5,000 pounds from a contractor called SS, inside his private shop on Ibn Al-Farid Street in Tanta, and the accused were arrested, and a report of the incident was drawn up and the Public Prosecution was notified.
