The examination of the General Administration of Public Funds Investigation, headed by Major General Essam Saad, resulted in the Director of the Ministry of Health Printing Press receiving an amount of 10 million pounds from the 2013 budget surplus coming from the Ministry of Health for the printing press, which is considered one of the projects of the Fund for Improving Services and Research Support at the Ministry of Health, to print private folders and papers At the ministry.

The investigations added that the printing press officials carried out publications with 2 million and 700 thousand pounds of the total amount of 10 million sent to it, and they kept 7 million and 200 thousand pounds, representing the value of the remainder of the previous amount inside the printing press account in a bank as the revenues and profits of the printing press, contrary to the truth.

The investigations confirmed that the officers of the Anti-Embezzlement Department alerted the Assistant Minister of Health for Financial Affairs about this incident, and that resulted in the recovery of 7 million and 200 thousand pounds to the state treasury.
