Al-Buhaira Governor Dr. Muhammad Sultan emphasized the intensification of efforts exerted to fight corruption in all governmental institutions, in order to confirm the prestige of the state and achieve social justice. Sultan added in exclusive statements to “The Seventh Day” that 220 employees in various government sectors have been referred to the Public and Administrative Prosecution during the last period for accusations in 95 cases related to embezzlement, waste of public money and job profit, in addition to their involvement in serious financial and administrative violations. The governor of Al-Buhaira explained that the referral of these facts to the relevant prosecution offices came after extensive investigations were conducted by the governorate's Legal Affairs Department headed by Muhammad Hindawi Al-Tunikhi, Director General of Legal Affairs, including the incident of the director of the strategic bakery at ADCO Center for embezzling a share of subsidized flour, amounting to 2,048 sacks, amounting to 292 thousand fairy. He added, "An employee of the Supply Directorate obtained large quantities of smart cards for subsidized goods for citizens and disbursed them to his account, obtained thousands of pounds unlawfully, and revealed the incident of granting licenses to a plot of state property in the Badr Center in violation of the law.
