Partners for Transparency participated in the Third Arab Forum for Promoting Transparency and Combating Corruption in the Digital Age, organized by the Arab Organization for Administrative Development – League of Arab States, during the period from 22 to 23 October 2025 at the organization’s headquarters in Cairo, with the participation of a number of experts and government officials from various Arab countries.

During the forum, the organization presented a working paper entitled “The Role of Digital Transformation in Combating Corruption and Promoting Transparency of Beneficial Ownership and Arab Cooperation,” which addressed the importance of employing technology to promote integrity and financial transparency, and to support the exchange of information between Arab countries within the framework of digital governance.

The organization also recommended launching a unified Arab digital platform for beneficial ownership, overseen by a regional body such as the League of Arab States, with the aim of exchanging information between Arab countries, promoting transparency in beneficial ownership, and combating financial corruption.

The proposal was widely appreciated by the forum participants and was included in the final recommendations as a practical step towards strengthening Arab cooperation in the field of transparency and digital governance.
