The Mediterranean Youth Foundation (one of the members of the Egyptian Network) organized the “Mediterranean Youth Academy” project - the third edition, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean in Barcelona, Spain, at the beginning of November to empower youth, with the support of the Anna Lindh Foundation and the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, with the participation of 110 people. Young men and women from various Euro-Mediterranean countries with the aim of raising awareness and involving young people in dealing with the most important common issues and challenges of the Mediterranean region, adopting their ideas, supporting their initiatives and urging them to come up with joint recommendations to serve the Euro-Mediterranean region.
In its third edition, the Mediterranean Youth Academy discussed main topics: climate change and climate justice, youth employment, and social integration, through a training program and workshops run by specialists from different countries over a period of four days.
