Walaa Gad, President of the Partners for Transparency Foundation, said that the general assemblies and unions have an important role to defend their interests within the framework of their specializations, noting that what the General Assembly of the Doctors Syndicate did because of the doctors' exposure to humiliation did not exceed its competencies and rights.
Gad added, in statements to "The Journal of Egypt", today, Friday, that standing in front of repeated police attacks is a struggle for dignity, saying: "The matter does not need painkillers from the government."
The head of the Partners Foundation for Transparency assured that there are a large number of police personnel doing their duty, but the actions of a few are bad for them and therefore the Ministry of Interior must find solutions to stop these abuses. Journal of Egypt
