"Partners for Transparency" monitored 66 incidents of "corruption" during January ... and "Supply" was in the forefront

The Partners for Transparency Foundation monitored 66 corruption incidents during last January, which were revealed by the various stakeholders.

The nineteenth report, issued by the Foundation, on Saturday, stated that “there has been no change in the legislative or institutional environment related to combating corruption, and the month has only witnessed frequent statements here and there by a number of officials, all of which talk about fighting corruption without translating these statements further.” .

The report pointed out that “at the level of facts, the Ministry of Supply is still ranked first among corruption incidents with a score of 16, followed by the local sector with a score of 11, then each of the ministries of Education, Agriculture and Health with 6 incidents each, and then comes each of the ministries of Information, Endowments and Electricity There are two incidents each.

The report revealed that "the incidents under investigation still ranked first among corruption incidents during the month of January 2017, as the largest percentage was recorded at 76%, followed by the incidents under trial with 23%, and then the incidents that were judged last with %".

The report pointed out that “with regard to geographical distribution, Cairo governorate still occupies the largest share of corruption incidents, as it witnessed 21 incidents of corruption, followed by Qalyubia governorate with 6 incidents, followed by Giza and Sharqia with 5 incidents each, while Beheira, Menoufia, Gharbia, New Valley and Assiut 3 The facts for each ».
