Ayman Aqil, head of the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights, and the mission's local partner and spokesperson, denied his relationship with the so-called “Egyptian Alliance for Human Rights and Development,” which announced its monitoring of the media and websites.

Aqeel said in press statements today, Tuesday, that what is rumored about the presence of the coalition in the joint international mission is incorrect, stressing that the accredited members of the mission are the International Network for Rights and Development in Norway, the International Institute for Peace, Justice and Human Rights IIPJHR in Geneva, and the Eastern and Southern Africa Organization and their local partner Foundation "Maat" for peace, development and human rights "MAAT", in addition to 31 local organizations.

Dr. Walaa Jad Al-Karim, director of the "Partners for Transparency" Foundation, launched a sharp attack on some local human rights organizations, which he accused of being unprofessional and preparing fabricated reports and issuing fake statements claiming that they are following the electoral process, stressing that there are some organizations that do not deal professionally and do not have them. Sufficient capabilities and claims to follow the elections, saying, "We note this in comparison between the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights and the joint international mission to monitor the elections with other organizations that believe that monitoring the elections is only fabricated data and reports issued from home."

Dr. Walaa Gad Al-Karim also refused to disclose those organizations that deal with unprofessionalism and issue fabricated reports, saying, “The citizen and the voter are smart and will easily discover the claimant to follow the elections. Such as the Egyptian Association for the Advancement of Community Participation, the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights, and the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights.
