The Partners for Transparency Foundation revealed in its fourth monthly report of the Corruption Status Book series that it had monitored 60 corruption incidents, during the period from (1-31) October 2015, came on top of which was the Ministry of Supply, which witnessed 14 incidents of corruption, after that comes the localities In second place with 9 incidents, followed by the Ministry of Education with 5 incidents, followed by the Ministry of Housing with 4 incidents. The report, which was obtained by “The Seventh Day”, stated that the monitoring process revealed that the incidents under investigation came first among the corruption incidents during the month of October, with a total of 39 incidents, followed by the facts under trial with 10 incidents. Then come the incidents that have not been investigated. In it, after a score of 7 incidents, and finally, the facts that were judged came last among the incidents that took place in the month of October, with only 4 incidents. With regard to legislation, the report confirmed that October did not witness the issuance of any new legislation or laws related to combating corruption, but there were a number of meetings and meetings in some governorates and ministries to discuss the state’s plans to combat corruption, as well as the presence of various statements by government officials, headed by President “Abdel Fattah El-Sisi” This included stressing the need to combat corruption, linking it to development efforts and attracting various investments, and witnessed the formation of an anti-corruption committee at the Ministry of Irrigation. The Foundation has launched an observatory to track corruption incidents beginning on July 1, 2015, to monitor what the media, regulatory agencies and relevant investigation authorities reveal, as well as follow up on the procedures of the state concerned with the case.
