Dr. Walaa Jad Al-Karim, Director of Partners for Transparency, said that 104 cases of corruption were monitored in August of this year only, explaining that facing corruption needs an integrated system that includes new legislations, mechanisms, and community awareness, so that the role of the state is to adopt public policies Favorable, and work to strengthen the fight against corruption. Jad Al-Karim added, during his interview with the "The Full Image" program with the media of Lian Daoud, that it is not possible to blame the citizen who pays a bribe in response to employee blackmail, because the state has absent from the mechanisms and legislations that prevent employee extortion of the citizen. For her part, Ghada Moussa, a member of the National Anti-Corruption Committee, said that the citizen is willing to pay bribes under the name of gratuities, noting that there is an imbalance in the values system in society.
