"January corruption" .. "Health" at the top of the list and "Interior" the least corrupt

The seventh report of the Partners for Transparency Association “PFT” revealed 138 corruption incidents in January 2016, and the Ministry of Health received the largest share of corruption incidents with a score of 23, followed by the local sector with 20 incidents, followed by the Ministry of Supply with 18 incidents, followed by the Ministry of Education Education and the Ministry of Agriculture with 9 incidents, followed by the Ministry of Interior with 6 incidents.

The report indicated that the incidents under investigation came first among the corruption incidents during January 2016 with a score of 89, followed by the facts that were not investigated with a score of 24 incidents, and the facts under trial came with a total of 22 incidents, and finally the facts that were judged came last in January with only 3 incidents.

The Partners for Transparency Foundation stated that the seventh report included monitoring and analyzing corruption incidents in January 2016, in conjunction with the issuance of the annual corruption perceptions report of Transparency International, which showed Egypt's ranking from 94th in the world to 88th in the world, in addition to what the month witnessed. Among the statements of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi included assurances of the state's determination to fight corruption.

She added that the month of January 2016 also witnessed the issuance of the report of the fact-finding committee formed by the President of the Republic to verify the correctness of the figures contained in the statements of Counselor Hisham Geneina, which he released in December 2015, in which he estimated the cost of corruption in Egypt at 600 billion pounds in four years, as the committee concluded in its report to The inaccuracy of the facts and referred the whole matter to the House of Representatives as the supervisory authority.
