On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, the Positive Youth Development Foundation (one of the members of the Egyptian Anna Lindh Network) celebrated the Mediterranean Day, funded by the Anna Lindh Foundation, at the Anfushi Culture Palace from seven o’clock to ten o’clock in the presence of 650 individuals from the social and political leaders of Alexandrian society, members of the House of Representatives and Senate, and a representative. The Ministry of Tourism and Summer Resorts, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Alexandria, representatives of political parties, a number of youth leaders, representatives of members of the church, and a group of officials. Paragraphs from the Al-Anfoushi Arab Music Band were presented that express the culture of Egyptian and Alexandrian society. The Foundation launched its basic message for today, which is a message of peace to countries. The Mediterranean Sea, and during this event, the Foundation recommended the need for the Mediterranean countries to enjoy peace and security/escape the cycle of hatred and reject violence, and stressed the importance of soft powers for communication between cultures.
