From Banjul, Partners for Transparency are calling for an end to impunity in North Africa.

Partners for Transparency denounced impunity in the North African region during a panel discussion held today on ending impunity in Africa and promoting transitional justice to protect human rights, promote peace and unity within the framework of the NGO Forum during the 85th Ordinary Session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.

Mirna Shalash, head of Partners for Transparency, pointed to the situation in the North Africa region, which faces challenges affecting good governance and human rights.
