Partners for Transparency PFT announced the monitoring of 90 incidents of corruption in Egypt during the month of November, with an increase of 50% than the incidents that were monitored during the month of October.
The report, which covers the period from November 1 to 30, 2015, revealed that the Ministry of Supply ranked first among the sectors that witnessed incidents of corruption in the month of November with a score of 36 incidents of corruption, followed by the Ministry of Housing with 7 incidents of corruption, after that comes both the Ministries of Communications Health, with 5 incidents of corruption each.
The report indicated that the incidents under investigation came first among the corruption incidents during the month of November 2015 with a score of 70, followed by the facts under trial with 10 incidents, followed by the incidents that have not yet been investigated with 9 incidents, and finally, the incidents that were judged in It ranked last among the incidents that took place in October, with only one incident, which means that 90% is one of the recorded incidents in the custody of the competent judicial investigation authorities.
The report's release this month coincides with International Anti-Corruption Day on December 9th.
In July 2015, the Partners for Transparency Foundation launched an observatory to track corruption incidents that were revealed by the media or announced by the regulatory agencies and the relevant investigation authorities, and to follow up the procedures of the state agencies concerned with the case.
