728 corruption incidents are under investigation in Egypt

The "Partners for Transparency" organization in Egypt praised the role that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi plays in his keenness to combat corruption. The organization stated in a report that monitors corruption in Egypt during the year 2015-2016 of the presidential interest in this file and the actions of the Administrative Control Authority, which seized several corruption cases involving some senior officials.

The organization indicated in its report that "this oversight body receives remarkable political support, to the point that President Sisi assigned it to form a technical committee to evaluate the projects implemented by the state." According to the report, the incidents under investigation received the largest share of the number of incidents, recording 728 incidents of corruption out of a total of 1,102 incidents, with a percentage of 66%, while the incidents under trial recorded 173 incidents, with a percentage of 16%, then the incidents that were not investigated came with a score of 144 incidents, according to the report In the last place are the incidents judged with 57 incidents, with a percentage of 5%.
