Dr. Walaa Jad Al-Karim, president of the Partners for Transparency Foundation, said that Amnesty International imposed double standards in its statement accusing the European Union countries of exporting weapons to police agencies to oppress citizens, and did not take a position on these countries that prevented arms exports to Libya in their war on terrorism.
In exclusive statements to the "Veto", Jad Al-Karim added that Amnesty International has not taken a real position towards European countries and their trade in and exploitation of Syrian refugees.
Gad al-Karim condemned torture, enforced disappearances, and police violations, noting that the entrance chosen by Amnesty International is purely political and not human rights, and the organization had to communicate with the Egyptian government and civil society organizations directly to reduce them.
