The Ministry of Belief ... the most corrupt in March

A report issued by the Partners for Transparency Foundation revealed that the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade acquired the largest share of corruption incidents, with 16 incidents out of 76 during March 2016 committed in other ministries.

In its report, issued today, Tuesday, the Foundation monitored about 76 incidents of corruption in various sectors, such as the Presidency of the Republic, in the case of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi dismissing the head of the Central Auditing Agency, Counselor Hisham Geneina, in addition to another incident in the Egyptian Parliament, which refused to create a “integrity and transparency” committee dedicated to combating Corruption.

The report issued by the Foundation confirmed that 7 incidents were monitored in the Ministry of Agriculture and 6 in the Ministry of Education, while the facts under trial and the incidents that were not investigated were equal to 16%, and finally, the incidents that were adjudicated came in the last place with a percentage of 9% Total facts.

The report also revealed that Cairo governorate had the largest share of corruption incidents during the month of March 2016, with 24 incidents of corruption, followed by Giza governorate with 7 incidents.The Arabian Egypt
