The "Partners for Transparency" organization monitored 85 incidents of corruption last September

Abdul Latif Subuh wrote, Partners for Transparency (PFT) issued its third monthly report in the “Corruption Status Book series of reports”, which covers the period from (1-30) September 2015, as the Foundation launched an observatory starting from July 1, 2015 to track incidents of corruption. It is disclosed through the media, regulatory agencies and relevant investigation authorities, as well as following up on the procedures of the state concerned with the case. The report focused on monitoring and analyzing legislative and procedural developments related to combating corruption, as well as counting the incidents that were reported by the various media during the month of September 2015, and the monitoring process in September 2015 revealed 85 incidents of corruption, with a decrease of 20% than what was monitored in August 2015. Also The report indicated that the government's statements related to fighting corruption were "more intense" this month than before, pointing out that the main reason for this may be the political and media uproar that accompanied the disclosure of the Ministry of Agriculture's corruption scandal, and then the change of the prime minister and a number of its ministers, Consequently, the tendency of a large number of officials to announce seemingly extreme positions towards corruption within their sectors. The report continued, “But at the same time, legislative solutions are still“ absent ”from the scene, despite its strong political positions, the most prominent of which was the acceptance of the government's resignation, but the state did not intervene during the month of September with laws and decisions that would deal with the phenomenon of widespread corruption in Egypt. In addition, the activities organized by a number of governmental bodies and organizations related to combating corruption are all ostensibly aimed at educating their employees and qualifying them to engage in anti-corruption efforts, but in practice these activities lack coherence, methodology and proper planning to allow measuring their impact and impact on the behavior and practices of employees within these bodies. later". The report also revealed that the Ministry of Supply and Localities came on top of the sectors that witness corruption for the second month in a row, with a score of 18, 12 incidents in the two sectors respectively during the month of September 2015. The report also revealed that the number of cases under investigation ranked first among corruption incidents during the month. September with 60 cases, followed by cases pending trial with 14 cases, then after that comes the cases that have been judged with 7 cases, and finally the cases that were not investigated came last with 4 cases only.
