Partners for Transparency PFT issued the sixth monthly report, today, Wednesday, to monitor and follow up incidents of corruption, and here is the sixth report issued by the Foundation, as it focuses on monitoring and analyzing legislative and procedural developments related to combating corruption, as well as counting the incidents that were addressed by various media during the month of December 2015.
The report detected 87 corruption incidents during the month of December, a slight decrease from the last month (November 2015), which witnessed 90 incidents, with the catering sector continuing to be at the top of the list with 22 incidents of corruption that were uncovered, followed immediately by the localities, health, and education.
With regard to the judicial position of the monitored facts, the report revealed that the facts under investigation came first among the corruption incidents during the month of December 2015, with a score of 56 incidents, followed by the incidents that were not investigated with a score of 17 incidents. After that, the facts under trial come with 10 incidents, and finally , The incidents that have been judged come last, with only 4 incidents.
In a parallel context, the report revealed the continued absence of anti-corruption legislative measures, with the continuation of positive statements by a number of officials, in addition to the activities and events of a training or awareness-raising that were monitored by a number of the administrative apparatus units of the Egyptian state.
