"Partners for Transparency": 60 corruption incidents in October ... and "Supply" is in the lead

Partners for Transparency monitored 60 corruption incidents in the various state agencies last October, on top of which was the Ministry of Supply, which witnessed 14 corruption incidents, and the localities came second with 9 incidents of corruption, followed by the Ministry of Education with 5 incidents of corruption, then the Ministry of Housing with a score 4 incidents of corruption.

The Foundation revealed in its fourth monthly report, issued on Sunday, in a series of reports (Corruption Status Book), which covers the period during last October, that the facts under investigation came first among the corruption incidents during the month of October with a score of 39, followed by the facts under trial with a balance 10 incidents, after that come the facts that have not yet been investigated with 7 incidents, and finally the facts that have been judged come in last place among the incidents witnessed in the month of October, with only 4 incidents.

The report focused on monitoring and analyzing legislative and procedural developments related to combating corruption, as well as counting the facts that were reported by various media outlets during the month of October 2015.

The month of October 2015 did not witness the issuance of new anti-corruption legislation or laws, but this month witnessed a number of meetings and meetings in some governorates and ministries to discuss the state’s plans to combat corruption, in addition to the presence of various statements by government officials, headed by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, which included stressing the need for Combating corruption, linking it to development efforts and attracting various investments.
