"Partners for Transparency" criticizes the failure to appoint human rights defenders to parliament

Walaa Jad al-Karim, director of the Partners for Transparency Foundation, criticized the failure to choose human rights activists among the names appointed in Parliament, despite our waiting for the selection of one of the jurists among those appointed to carry the banner of defending human rights under the parliament.

"Jad Al-Karim" stressed in a special statement to "Al Arabiya News": "The parliament is its primary mission to defend human rights and preserve the Egyptian human right," indicating that the Human Rights Committee in Parliament could be led by a legal person, but we needed someone from Professionally involved in human rights and working with it on the ground.
