Partners for Transparency monitored 71 incidents of "corruption" in the state apparatus during July

Partners for Transparency issued its first monthly report in the "Corruption Status Book series of reports", covering the period from (1-31) July 2015.

The report reviewed the governmental measures taken during the month of July 2015, and revealed that they included the establishment of coordination bodies to combat corruption, but they did not include specific mechanisms that guarantee the efficiency of work within these bodies, as well as that they did not set a time limit for the completion of these bodies from their work.

The report revealed that the month of July 2015 witnessed 71 corruption incidents, 11 of which were in the local authorities, 9 in the Ministry of Health, 8 in the petroleum sector, 6 in agriculture and the same in the effects, 5 in youth and sports, 4 in Al Dakhiliyah, and the rest was distributed to several other sectors. Rates ranging from one to three incidents.

The report also revealed that the number of cases under investigation ranks first among corruption cases this month, with a score of 24, then comes the uninvestigated cases with 22 incidents, followed by the cases under trial with 19 incidents, and finally the cases that have been judged Last place, with 6 facts, was completed with various penalties.

The organization said that this report comes within the framework of Partners for Transparency's conviction that uncovering, monitoring and tracking corruption practices is a necessary weapon in the system of war against corruption, and within the framework of assisting decision-making authorities to adopt policies, legislative procedures, and implementation steps aimed at reducing the phenomenon and holding perpetrators accountable. Corruption.
