Walaa Jad Al-Karim, director of the PFT initiative, revealed that the initiative is about to finalize its report on “electoral financing and spending,” stressing that it is one of the main issues that greatly affect the integrity of the electoral process, pointing out that the initiative will send A copy of the report to the official authorities in the country in preparation for taking legal action against candidates who violate the law, indicating that the electoral campaign phase will be monitored from September 19 to October 16, which is the end of the electoral campaign.
In a statement to Al-Bawaba News, Jad Al-Karim explained that highlighting the violations that the initiative monitored is that candidates spend outside a bank account, which is what the law warned against, and set controls and penalties for violators starting from a fine of 10,000 pounds and up to one hundred thousand pounds, pointing out that the fine It is done by determining the court after referring the candidate through the Public Prosecution.
