Walaa Gad, director of the Partners for Transparency Foundation, said that the institution has prepared well to follow the electoral process during the second phase, and is now monitoring cases of violations in the governorates of Cairo and the central delta, indicating that there are no cases of preventing monitoring so far for the institution’s monitoring committee.

In his statement to "Journal Egypt", Gad praised the role of the Supreme Elections Committee, as it referred 92 candidates to the Public Prosecution Office for violating the election law, stressing that a large percentage of these referrals were based on the monitoring of the institution’s followers.

Gad added, that some candidates accuse their competitors of funding from abroad, there is no evidence against him yet, and whoever submits these accusations must go to the Supreme Elections Committee or to the prosecution because funding from abroad is a crime punishable by law, but whoever accuses someone without evidence is the one who is accused because he offends Competitor's reputation.

The director of Partners for Transparency assured that the monitoring process is going well in Egypt, as there are no difficulties facing followers in any organization.
