Dr. Walaa Gad Al-Karim, director of the Partners for Transparency Foundation, said that the Supreme Committee overseeing the elections has submitted complaints to the Public Prosecution against three dissenting candidates in Alexandria, accusing them of exceeding the financial spending of electoral advertising, as well as some satellite channels.
Jad al-Karim added, in exclusive statements to the "Veto", that this is very few in relation to the number of violators of the candidates, but there is time to file complaints against the violators even after the end of the first phase of the 2016 parliamentary elections.
The director of the institution added that the committee should re-examine and analyze the reports submitted by civil society organizations concerned with observing the elections about the extent of the election campaign violations of the candidates.
