Transparency International: Egypt is ranked second after Yemen in corruption

“Transparency International issued its latest report on monitoring corruption in international societies, and it was found that Egypt came in second place after Yemen.” This was what Dr. Walaa Jad Al-Karim, Director General of Partners for Development, said during a telephone interview with the “Day by Day” program with the journalist Reham Al-Sahli. .
Jad Al-Karim added that the report does not monitor incidents of corruption, but rather polls citizens' opinions about corruption in their societies, and that the report mentioned that 1 out of every 2 in Egypt gets a bribe.
He pointed out that it must be recognized that there is corruption in Egypt and that it is inherited and the result of many factors, and there is a large spread of bribery, which is the simplest manifestation of corruption.
