Dr. Walaa Jad Al-Karim, Director of the Partners for Transparency Foundation, commented in exclusive statements to “Arab News” on the new draft NGO law proposed by the Ministry of Solidarity and approved by the Council of Ministers in preparation for discussion in the House of Representatives, that the project is catastrophic.

"Jad Al-Karim" added that the law establishes the idea that organizations are under indictment until proven otherwise, and the law does not take into account the differences between charitable societies. There are organizations whose budget is only 50 pounds and another billion pounds, and therefore there are no rules for justice, pointing out that the law entrenches unconstitutional interventions On the part of the administrative authorities in the work of organizations.

The director of Partners for Transparency stated that the relationship created by the law between organizations and administrative bodies violates the constitutional text, and violates international charters and agreements signed by Egypt.
