The New Valley Governorate was ranked first at the level of the Republic in combating corruption issues and societal awareness of corruption issues, according to the reports of the Council of Ministers and supervisory authorities that were prepared at the level of the Republic to measure levels of combating administrative corruption and awareness of corruption issues, and the competent authorities in the governorate were notified that the New Valley had achieved this advanced position It is followed by the governorates of Sohag, Minya, Luxor and Kafr El Sheikh.
Major General Mahmoud Ashmawy, Governor of the New Valley, said in a special statement to “The Seventh Day” that the governorate, with all its agencies and sectors, implements the government's plan to combat corruption and raise awareness of the value of eliminating it, whether within government agencies or among citizens through a package of activities that are strictly implemented, which include launching continuous campaigns In coordination with all service sectors and regulatory agencies to control administrative irregularities or manifestations of corruption in all government sectors without discrimination or complacency, stressing that the governorate's obtaining this position is the greatest incentive to enhance these continuous efforts of the executive and supervisory agencies to control and eliminate all violations .
