Today, Monday, Public Fund Investigation officers in the Assiut Security Directorate arrested a “drinking water company employee” in Assiut Governorate, in the act of taking a bribe from “someone” in exchange for his appointment to the company.

As General “Atef Kulayi”, Director of Assiut Security, received a notification from the Public Funds Department, according to which information had been received by the investigation officers that “p. Q. An employee in the Manqabad warehouses of the Water and Sanitation Company, to receive a bribe from a person in exchange for his appointment.

By codifying the procedures and asking the prosecutor's permission, the investigation team was able to catch him in flagrante delicto while he was receiving an amount of 70 thousand pounds as a bribe from a citizen in exchange for completing his appointment procedures for the company he works for.
