Human Rights Foundation: 83 incidents of corruption in June .. Supply is the largest share

The Partners for Transparency Foundation monitored 83 incidents of corruption during the month of June, amid statements by officials and MPs against corruption, but it did not witness corresponding developments in the legislative environment.

Today, Wednesday, the Partners for Transparency Report added that the Ministry of Supply had the largest share of corruption incidents during the month of June 2016, with 15 corruption incidents out of a total of 83 incidents, including what was revealed by the regulatory and security agencies that 38 officials were involved in manipulating wheat supplies. And silos, which are estimated at about 315 million Egyptian pounds, including a senior official within the Ministry of Supply, and in second place, the Ministry of Agriculture came with 10 incidents of corruption, after that comes the localities with 9 incidents of corruption, then the Ministry of Interior with 7 incidents, followed by the Ministry of Investment and Transport A score of 6 facts.

The report indicated that, regarding the judicial position, the incidents under investigation came first among the corruption incidents during the month of June 2016, as it received the largest percentage of 67% out of a total of 83 incidents, followed by the incidents under trial with a score of 17 %. 11 %, and finally the facts that were judged last by 5 %.
