Eastern Governor: Gazette has 5,000 employees and referred 564 officials to the Public Prosecution Office

Major General Staff Khalid Harb, Governor of the Eastern Province, said that the state is serious about combating corruption and corrupt people and combating bureaucracy, which disrupts the interests of citizens, and that the beginning of the reform is to recognize the truth and clarify the shortcomings and deterioration of work, to start immediately the reform process and improve the level of service provided to citizens. His complete keenness to establish a mechanism for continuous coordination and cooperation between the executive bodies

 

Said added, in exclusive statements to Al-Youm Al-Sabea, that administrative corruption is not only in the localities, but the health and education sectors are the most corrupt, and has begun to eradicate it in many locations by conducting a movement of movement between heads of local units in centers, cities, neighborhoods, villages and engineering departments. And the exclusion of everyone around whom suspicions are hovered or monitoring reports are received, and follow-up committees have been formed for the regular passage of service sectors to uncover hotbeds of corruption to uproot it.

 

The Governor of Sharqia confirmed that during 2016, 564 employees and officials were referred to the Administrative and Public Prosecution, 49 of them public prosecutors for their involvement in corruption and waste of public money, in addition to the issuance of 211 penal decisions that included approximately 5,422 employees, the last of whom were 722 doctors, pharmacists, and employees working in Belbeis hospitals. And Hussainiya and Derb Negm for leaving their work, and referring 6 employees in the local unit of Derib Negm and Zagazig to the disciplinary court, for their negligence and failure to work and not to deal with agricultural violations.
