Said added, in exclusive statements to Al-Youm Al-Sabea, that administrative corruption is not only in the localities, but the health and education sectors are the most corrupt, and has begun to eradicate it in many locations by conducting a movement of movement between heads of local units in centers, cities, neighborhoods, villages and engineering departments. And the exclusion of everyone around whom suspicions are hovered or monitoring reports are received, and follow-up committees have been formed for the regular passage of service sectors to uncover hotbeds of corruption to uproot it.

The Governor of Sharqia confirmed that during 2016, 564 employees and officials were referred to the Administrative and Public Prosecution, 49 of them public prosecutors for their involvement in corruption and waste of public money, in addition to the issuance of 211 penal decisions that included approximately 5,422 employees, the last of whom were 722 doctors, pharmacists, and employees working in Belbeis hospitals.
