"Partners for Transparency": The month of March witnessed 94 "incidents of corruption"

Partners for Transparency released PFT, Its twenty-first report, which dealt with monitoring and analysis of legislative and procedural developments related to combating corruption, as well as counting the facts that were revealed during the month of March 2017, and classifying them sectorally, geographically, and judicially.
The organization said, that the month of March witnessed 94 incidents of corruption that were revealed through the media and the concerned bodies, noting that the Ministry of Supply witnessed a relative decline for the first time in incidents of corruption in the Ministry of Supply from last month, equivalent to 16 incidents in March, compared to 17 in February. Although the ministry continues to occupy the top of the sectors in terms of the number of incidents.
The report continued: “The general sectoral and geographic arrangement of corruption incidents remains in line with what has prevailed since the beginning of the Corruption Status Book series, as the supply sectors, localities, and health are still the most suffering from corruption and wasting public money, and the governorates of Cairo and Giza are the most possessive. The largest percentage of these incidents ».
The report added that the incidents under investigation came first among the corruption incidents during the month of March, the largest percentage was recorded with 74% out of a total of 94 incidents, followed by the incidents under trial with a score of 12%, then came the facts that were judged by 9 %. Which was not achieved in the last place by 5% of the total incidents, which means that 95% of the incidents are under litigation.
