"Partners for Transparency" issues its report on corruption rates ... 87 incidents during December ... and supplies are the most corrupt ministries ... 56 incidents are under investigation ... The Foundation: absence of anti-corruption legislative measures

Partners for Transparency PFT continues to issue monthly reports to monitor and follow up incidents of corruption in all ministries, as part of the "Corruption Status Book" series.

The sixth report issued by the Foundation focused on monitoring and analyzing legislative and procedural developments related to combating corruption, in addition to counting the facts that were reported by various media outlets during the month of December 2015.

Corrupt ministries

The report monitored 87 corruption incidents during the month of December, a slight decrease from the previous month, November 2015, which witnessed 90 incidents, with the catering sector continuing to be at the top of the list with 22 incidents of corruption that were uncovered, followed immediately by the localities, then health and education.

Facts under investigation 

With regard to the judicial position of the detected facts, the report revealed that the facts under investigation came first among the corruption incidents during the month of December 2015 with a score of 56, followed by the incidents that were not investigated with a score of 17 incidents. After that, the facts under trial come with 10 incidents, and finally The facts that have been adjudicated are last, with only 4 incidents.

Absence of legislative procedures

The report revealed the continued absence of legislative measures against corruption, with the continuation of the positive statements of a number of officials, in addition to the activities and activities of a training or awareness-raising organized by a number of the administrative apparatus of the Egyptian state.
