A number of country ambassadors and heads of the Anna Networks participated in the festival Lind from several countries and a group of experts in the field of cultural heritage and intercultural dialogue.

The Ciralia Festival works to link identity and cultural heritage between the countries of the Mediterranean basin, and it is an important regional cultural event held every year in the Italian city of Rome, and aims to enhance integration between the countries of the Mediterranean region, and to promote human and sustainable development. This year the festival focused on Four axes: the historical heritage of the Mediterranean countries, the food in the Mediterranean region, the common artistic heritage, and common environmental issues.

The participation of the Partners for Transparency Foundation came within the framework of its presidency of the Egyptian Network of the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for Intercultural Dialogue, represented by Professor Mirna Shalash, Director of International Relations and Deputy Coordinator of the Egyptian Network. At this time, many challenges are mounting that threaten the foundations of peace and coexistence in the Mediterranean region, such as violence, terrorism, intolerance and hate speech.

Partners for Transparency pointed out the importance of intercultural dialogue as one of the important tools to stand in the face of these challenges, as it contributes to a profound change of stereotypes and wrong social roots, and contributes to bridging the gap between cultures and restoring the foundations of integration and the spirit of cooperation between the countries of the North and South of the Mediterranean.

The Partners for Transparency Foundation affirmed that Egypt is one of the important and pivotal countries in the Mediterranean region for its strategic location and distinctive civilization that affected the rest of the countries of the Mediterranean basin, and indicated that Egypt at the official and popular level and at the level of civil society organizations is working hard to adopt the axes The four are due to their positive impact on the development of the Egyptian society and the peoples of the Mediterranean, and the achievement of sustainable development
