The Administrative Control Authority managed to control the Director General of Northern Sector Projects in the Sinai Reconstruction Authority, and the supervisor of the implementation of the June 30 Corridor Road project, which cost about 1.8 billion pounds, after he received an amount of 300 thousand pounds as a bribe from the owner of one of the paving companies operating in the project, in exchange for Facilitating the procedures of assigning and receiving works from the company.

A report on the incident was edited, and the accused were presented to the Public Prosecution in Port Said, which took over the investigations.

This comes within the framework of the President's directives to the Administrative Control Authority to follow up on national projects, observe the safety procedures and implementation, and prevent the weak from exploiting state resources to commit corruption incidents.
