Al-Ahram daily
During this year, Ministers Salah Hilal and Khaled Hanafi resigned from the government, on the background of accusations of corruption ... the first of them was referred to trial and was imprisoned, minutes after his resignation ... and the second is still waiting. And if removal from office is the punishment of every corrupt official or who is concealed in corruption ... then how many minister deserves to be removed from his job because of his silence on corruption? ... And how many officials and employees in the state deserve that fate? ... All must be removed from their posts because of corruption .. And this is A fact that may shock many.
But in the end, it is based on an accurate scientific study and a tangible reality .. And this answer is not derived from the opinions of experts, nor from the analyzes of analysts, and it does not depend on sent words, but is based on numbers of specialized and accurate studies that have monitored cases of corruption in the various ministries of Egypt .. And the numbers are always inconvenient. . as they say .
The study was carried out by Partners for Transparency and monitored corruption incidents during 365 days, starting from July 2015 and ending in June 2016. During this period, the study monitored 1,102 incidents of corruption in state institutions, with 3 corruption incidents per day, and the Ministry of Supply came the most corrupt and witnessed 215 corruption incidents alone, representing 19.771 TP1T of the total incidents. Corruption ... followed by the localities with a score of 712 incidents of corruption at a rate of approximately 11.51 TP1T, then health with 97 incidents of corruption at a rate of 8.81 TP1T, the Ministry of Agriculture with 88 incidents of corruption at a rate of 7.91 TP1T, followed by the Ministry of Interior with 76 incidents of corruption at a rate of 6.891 TP1T, then the Ministry of Education with 59 incidents of corruption with a rate of 5 35%, the Ministry of Finance with 49 incidents of 4,441 TP1T, and the Ministry of Housing with 36 incidents of 3,261 TP1T. This is followed by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology with 31 incidents of 2.81 TP1T, out of the total corruption incidents in the last year, the Ministry of Transport with 29 incidents of corruption in the last year, 2,631 TP1T, the Ministry of Justice with 24 incidents of 2,171 TP1T, then the Ministry of Youth and Sports with 23 incidents of 1.991 TP1T, then Ministry of Social Solidarity with a score of 19 incidents of 1.721 TP1T. Then came the Ministries of Petroleum, Endowments and Investment with 18 incidents of corruption, the Ministry of Antiquities with 17 incidents, then the Ministry of Higher Education with 16 incidents of corruption, the Ministry of Electricity with 14 incidents, the Ministry of Culture with 9 incidents, followed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade with 7 incidents, and the Ministry of Environment with 5 incidents, followed by each From the Ministry of Business and the Ministry of Manpower.
These results must be aware that corruption is a monster that will devour us all if we do not uproot it from its roots ... Whoever gets an electoral bribe is corruption Whoever gets a salary without acquiring his work is corruption ... Whoever evades doing his work is corruption ... Whoever argues without performing his work is corruption ... Who analyzes corruption In his writing, corruption ... Whoever evades paying taxes is corruption ... Appointing relatives without competent persons Corruption ... Appointing relatives in vital places in the state Corruption ... Who gets rewards for performing government work (gratuities) Corruption ...
Therefore, corruption is the responsibility of all of us, and resisting it is the responsibility of all of us ... in order to build our beloved Egypt, only through eliminating corruption, favoritism and bribes ...
