Ms.Merna Shalash, President of the Partners for Transparency, participated as a keynote speaker at the Second International Conference on Combating Discrimination Against Islam and Muslims, organized by the League of Arab States under the theme \u201cMuslim Communities in the West and Their Role in Confronting Islamophobia,\u201d at the headquarters of he Arab League. The confrence was attended by officials, diplomats, heads of religious and parliamentary institutions, and experts from a number of countries , international organizations and NGOs . This participation reflects the Foundation\u2019s commitment to promoting dialogue and cooperation to counter hate speech, discrimination, and intolerance, and to reinforce the values of tolerance and mutual respect.<\/p>\n

The pivotal role of civil society organizations in combating Islamophobia was emphasized through raising public awareness, countering hate speech and misinformation. highlighted the role of the PFT Foundation at the local, regional, and international levels in combating this phenomenon<\/p>\n
