The report showed that the financial and banking sector topped the list of the most corrupt sectors with a rate of 37.31%, followed by the local government and administrative corruption sector with a rate of 26.86%, then the supply sector with a rate of 16.41%, the education sector with a rate of 13.43%, and finally the health sector with a rate of 5.97%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cairo governorate recorded the highest number of incidents, with 43,28%, followed by Giza, Qalyubia, and Sharkia governorates. The report indicated the escalation of efforts by regulatory and executive authorities to combat corruption, as more than 7 campaigns were implemented against fictitious educational entities, 25 campaigns to combat money laundering, in addition to 11 inspection campaigns in the catering sector.
