Partners for Transparency issues its monthly report \u201cCorruption Status Book\u201d for the month of December
\n146 corruption incidents in December, and parliamentary moves to uncover corruption within institutions
\nWithin the framework of the \u201cCorruption Record\u201d series, \u201cPartners for Transparency\u201d continues to issue monthly reports to monitor and follow up on corruption incidents in Egypt, which focus on monitoring and analyzing legislative and procedural developments related to combating corruption, as well as listing the incidents that were revealed during the month of December. 2022, and classify them sectorally and geographically, with the aim of identifying the sectors that most witness incidents of corruption, as well as the most governorates in which these incidents are concentrated.
\nAccording to the Foundation's report, December recorded 146 corruption incidents in a number of different sectors, while incidents of corruption related to catering are still at the forefront of the most corrupt incidents, as 83 corruption incidents were recorded, with a percentage of 57 % of the total incidents witnessed in December, followed directly by the agricultural sector and violations of Territories, with 29 incidents, with a ratio of 20 % out of the total incidents under study, and the health sector ranked third with 17 corruption incidents, with a rate of 11.5% out of the total incidents of corruption.

\nGeographically, and repeatedly, the Buhaira governorate ranked first among the Egyptian governorates in terms of corruption incidents during the month of December, by recording 13 incidents, with a percentage of %9 of the total incidents, while 3 governorates together recorded a rate of 1TP2424 of the total corruption incidents at the level of the Republic. Making them the most corrupt governorates during December, and the governorates are \u201cBeheira, Gharbia, and Alexandria.\u201d
