The human rights defender, Ayman Aqeel, the general coordinator of the joint international mission to follow up on the parliamentary elections, announced the intention of the mission and a number of local organizations concerned with following up the elections to form a joint Egyptian alliance.<\/p>\n

The attendees, including representatives of civil society and human rights organizations, discussed during their consultative meeting that took place this evening, Saturday, in a hotel in the Dokki area, the mechanisms of forming this alliance, the means of communication between the organizations that formed it, and the way of geographical coordination between its volunteers at the level of the Republic.<\/p>\n

The meeting also discussed setting up a clear mechanism for writing the final reports issued by the coalition, as well as appointing a responsible authority to assess the daily statements of the coalition\u2019s correspondents, allocating an operations room in which to represent all violations and determining the operational standards through which the goal is defined to ensure the highest levels of efficiency in monitoring and following up the electoral process.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by Ayman Aqeel, the general coordinator of the joint international mission to follow up on the parliamentary elections, Dr. Yousry El-Azbawy, a political researcher at Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies, Dr. Walaa Gad Al-Karim, director of the Partners Foundation for Transparency, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Sharif, director of the Leaders Foundation, Mahmoud Al-Badawi, President of the Egyptian Association For human rights aid and human rights, Hassan al-Shami, vice president of the Independent Committee for Election Follow-up, and a number of representatives of human rights organizations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
