The documents ... Punish the mayor of Baltim for manipulating the sale of state land

The Supreme Disciplinary Court ruled to punish the mayor of Baltim, after it was proven that he committed gross financial and administrative violations, and tampered with the process of selling state land, which resulted in wasting public money.

The reasons for the ruling revealed that Ibrahim Muhammad Abu Al-Fotouh, head of the local unit of the center and city of Baltim, did not perform the work entrusted to him honestly, and took a course that is inconsistent with the dignity of the public office and violated the law, which resulted in damage to public money.

The papers stated that the defendant had agreed unilaterally to sell the two plots Nos. 43 and 44, state property by dividing El Gouna in the Baltim district individually according to his memorandum presented to the Governor of Kafr El Sheikh for citizen Hussein Hosni Abidi, at a price per square meter of 2,500 pounds by way of direct agreement without selling it by the public auction system, in violation of Article 4 of the President's decision Minister No. 2041 of 2004 did not present the property management memorandum, which included the violation of the sale of the law, which resulted in wasting approximately 943 thousand pounds of price differences and depriving the public treasury of these funds.

The Supreme Disciplinary Court of the Council of State concluded that the accused was penalized with a fine equivalent to five times the basic wage that he was receiving per month at the end of his service.

The ruling was issued under the leadership of Counselor Mohamed Hassan Mubarak, Vice President of the State Council, and the membership of Advisors Eid Hassanein and Dr. Munir Al-Sagheer, Vice-Chairman of the Council, and the presence of Counselor Sameh Al-Tayeb, representative of the Administrative Prosecution and the secretariat of Jaber Tawfiq.
