The head of the Rawd al-Farag neighborhood was arrested red-handed

Administrative control officials arrested the head of the Rawd al-Farag district in flagrante delicto by taking a bribe of 20,000 pounds from a contractor in return for facilitating his obtaining a license to demolish an old property, which he bought in preparation for establishing a new property. Major General Ahmed Taymour, Acting Governor of Cairo, affirmed that he does not cover up corruption, regardless of the position of its owner, indicating that the law will be dealt with firmly and the law will be enforced against anyone who misuses his powers to achieve personal interests.
