“Administrative Control”: The defendants took a bribe to hand over lands to a businessman
Today, the Administrative Control Authority managed to arrest the Director of the Legal Affairs Department and a number of officials in the Public Authority for Fish Resources Development, for taking sums of money as a bribe from a businessman.

The authority stated, in a statement, that the bribery took place in exchange for handing over the businessman 21,000 square meters in the Abyss area in Alexandria based on a public bid.

The Alexandria Appeals Prosecution Office, under the supervision of Counselor Said Abdel Mohsen, investigated the case.

The Administrative Control Authority had arrested, a few days ago, the Deputy Governor of Alexandria, Suad Al-Khouli, for accusing her of being involved in several corruption incidents, including: "bribery, harm to public money, and profit."

The authority stated that the investigations confirmed that it received money, material gifts, and gold jewelry exceeding one million pounds, from a number of businessmen, in exchange for exploiting its powers, breaching the duties of the job, and stopping and delaying the implementation of the removal decisions issued for buildings built without a license, or on land owned by the state, as the investigations confirmed It deliberately concealed the elements of its wealth, which the administrative control described as "illegal", to avoid being pursued.
