Masoud Karimi, the regional representative for the Middle East and North Africa, praised UNODC, in press statements, on Egypt's efforts in the field of preventive measures to combat corruption, especially with regard to issuing and implementing the national anti-corruption strategy, praising the awareness and training campaigns for workers in the state’s administrative apparatus, and the campaign The media, which was launched by the National Committee for the Prevention and Combating of Corruption, which he considered "one of the best successful practices for states parties to the Convention," he said.

The workshop activities were attended by Jason Rachelt, Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Officer, Zorana Markovic, Regional Anti-Corruption Adviser at the United Nations Office in Vienna, and Mona Salem, UNODC Coordinator in Cairo.

The National Experts Authority in Egypt consists of representatives of the entities that are members of the National Committee for the Prevention and Control of Corruption from the judicial, supervisory and security authorities and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
